We assign three mentors, of varying levels of seniority, to each summer associate, assuring that there is always a trusted and experienced resource available to help guide the summer associates through their stay with us. Each summer associate is paired with one partner, one mid- to senior-level associate and a junior associate, allowing each individual relationship to evolve according to the style of each attorney. Mentor matches are typically based in large part on the practice area interests expressed by the incoming summer associate.

One of the greatest mentoring opportunities we offer is having a summer associate share an office with a first-year associate. Because first-year associates are the most recent graduates of the summer program experience, as well as being the newest members of our family, we believe this relationship provides an invaluable resource for the summer associates’ integration into our culture.
