Our litigation and government affairs lawyers combine a holistic approach with deep experience in our individual areas of focus.

We represent clients in federal and state courts around the country, as well as before government regulators and entities. Our experience includes litigating and/or investigating complex issues, responding to governmental inquiries, obtaining regulatory approvals and negotiating government contracts. We are also one of the few full-service law firms to offer comprehensive counsel to public sector unions and their benefit funds. We provide on-going counsel on the regulatory environment to address issues early and minimize risk, and also often engage in pre-litigation dispute resolution. Through collaboration with our transactional lawyers, we ensure that our clients’ business objectives are understood and prioritized when crafting a litigation strategy.

Our litigation team also advocates for vulnerable groups and civic, charitable and nonprofit entities, as well as indigent persons in federal and state courts through our award-winning pro bono program.
