Representing creditors, debtors, bankruptcy trustees and other interested parties in insolvency matters in the bankruptcy courts and other federal and state courts nationwide, we have extensive experience in litigating fraudulent conveyances, valuation issues, contested plan confirmations, preferences, intercreditor disputes and claims against insiders. Recent significant engagements include litigation on behalf of major creditors and official or ad hoc creditors’ committees in the bankruptcies of Adelphia Communications, Beloit Corporation, Commodore Computers, Dana Corp., Enron, MCI WorldCom, Owens Corning, Sonic Blue, USG and W.R. Our practice is international in scope, with engagements involving litigation in cross-border insolvencies and representations of foreign liquidators in ancillary proceedings in the United States. We have also represented officers, directors and other insiders in claims arising from the bankruptcies of Akai Holding, Asia Global Crossing, Semi-Tech and Singer® Sewing Machine.
