Our Employment Law Group strives to equip employers with the knowledge and know-how to face the challenges of today's rapidly changing workplace environment and complex and expanding body of employment law. Specifically, we take a risk management approach to labor and employment matters, by focusing on preventive maintenance. We review and assess existing employment practices, develop and analyze policies and procedures for attracting, retaining and managing employees, and establish in-house employment law compliance and complaint management systems. We conduct management and company-wide training and client seminars on sexual harassment and anti-discrimination, proper procedures for workforce reductions, hiring and interviewing techniques, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and other employment-related topics.
