Shauneida Navarrete is special counsel in the general litigation department.  She has extensive experience focusing on employment and general commercial litigation disputes in state and federal courts, as well as domestic arbitration forums. Shauneida works with her clients to ensure that they reach a reasonable resolution for their disputes—regardless of whether the resolutions require litigation, mediation, or general advice.

In employment, Shauneida has litigated cases arising out of employment discrimination disputes.  She has also provided advice to employers and employees on employment agreements, severance agreements, and general releases.

Shauneida’s general commercial litigation experience ranges from breach of contract to shareholder disputes concerning tender offers.  She also has experience with civil RICO claims, Attorney General investigations involving allegations of false advertising and deceptive marketing, SEC and DOJ investigations, wills and trust construction disputes, and legal fee disputes.

Shauneida also has experience in real estate litigation.  She has litigated breach of lease agreement disputes and landlord-tenant disputes on behalf of commercial tenants. She is also a member for Stroock's Diversity Committee.
