Sayan Bhattacharyya is a partner in Stroock’s Financial Restructuring Group and regularly represents ad hoc and official creditor committees, debtors, DIP lenders, indenture trustees and bank agents, individual creditors, acquirers, and equity holders, in in-court and out-of-court restructuring, refinancing and default scenarios. Sayan also routinely advises investor clients on the capital and organizational structure of distressed companies, drawing upon an array of legal disciplines, to assist clients with the development and implementation of sophisticated distressed investment strategies and the analysis and negotiation of complex debt documentation.
