He has extensive experience with the securitization of mortgage loans, home equity loans, FHA loans, SBA and other commercial loans, student loans, auto receivables and trade receivables. He was actively involved in the securitization regulations enacted by the U.S. Small Business Administration and has served as transaction counsel in many SBA loan securitizations since the first offering in 1992.
Mr. Fried advises issuers, underwriters and agents involved in all types of structured finance transactions. He represents registered and non-registered domestic and foreign investment advisers as well as sponsors and advisors of offshore funds investing in mortgage and other asset-backed securities. Mr. Fried also represents sponsors and credit providers in connection with commercial paper conduit programs.
