  • Represented shareholders and drafted amended complaint, motion for class certification and successful opposition to motion to dismiss in stockholder class action lawsuit alleging violations of the securities laws in state court against teledentistry company.
  • Represented consumer brands corporation and drafted successful motion to dismiss 13 putative stockholder class action lawsuits alleging breach of fiduciary duties related to merger with media and merchandising company.
  • Represented online social media and social networking company in securities and consumer class actions and related matters in connection with the misuse of data by data firm.
  • Represented multinational finance and insurance corporation. Drafted cross examination for key, named defendants, and handled all trial logistics in a lengthy high-profile $1 billion civil RICO, fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and unjust enrichment trial in the Southern District of New York against originator of life settlements.  Favorable settlement was reached.
  • Represented multinational corporate turnaround and restructuring consulting firm.  Drafted cross examination for named defendants in theft of trade secrets and breach of contract trial against two departing executives in Delaware Chancery Court related to their wrongful taking of trade secrets and other highly sensitive and confidential documents, resulting in favorable, mid-trial settlement.
  • Represented large private investment firm and prepared its founder for cross examination against SEC fraud charges in three-week trial related to management of a distressed debt CLO fund.  The SEC sought disgorgement of more than $200 million and the founder’s debarment for life as an investment advisor.
  • Represented multinational finance and insurance corporation and drafted report for general counsel in internal investigation related to financial advisor compensation disclosures.
