Eric S. Aronson is, first and foremost, a trial lawyer with broad experience in trial and appellate courts. He has tried cases in federal and state courts all over the country and has handled domestic and international arbitrations. He has argued appeals in numerous U.S. Circuit Courts and is admitted to practice before the Second, Third and Eighth Circuits, as well as the United States Court of International Trade.

Eric handles a wide variety of litigation and routinely acts for companies and their management in areas such as securities, general commercial and contractual disputes, real estate, insurance, health care and environmental disputes. With a focus on problem solving, Eric handles matters for financial institutions, closely held corporations, real estate developers, leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies, and various private equity groups and their portfolio companies. As a business-oriented lawyer, he also advises companies and their management on risk management and litigation avoidance.

Eric is a member of the Governing Board of America Needs You, and former Board Member, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital “Rock for Hope” Wall Street fundraiser, among other professional and community activities.

  • A major closely held retailer in a series of shareholder litigations and related disputes
  • A large, national food cooperative in litigation with a joint venture partner.
  • A consumer products company in CERCLA litigation and related regulatory issue regarding the largest Superfund Site in the United States.
  • A nursing home owner mounting a litigation challenge to the licensing of a third-party facility.
  • A consumer products company in a nationwide class action involving labeling claims.
  • An environmental services company regarding OSHA-administrative proceedings and a federal wrongful death action.
  • A major real estate developer regarding a construction dispute.
  • A pharmaceutical company in a securities class action.
  • Defended an international chemical manufacturer against liability under federal and state environmental laws relating to three New Jersey Superfund Sites.
  • Recovered multimillion dollar arbitration award on behalf of a publicly traded corporation who had been sued for alleged breaches of commercial license and toll manufacturing agreements.
  •  Prosecuted litigations enforcing registered copyrights and trademarks on behalf of publicly traded corporations against counterfeiters.
  • A major generic pharmaceutical company in multiple arbitrations relating to alleged breaches of royalty and licensing agreements.
