Elizabeth Akerman regularly advises institutional and non-institutional owners, operators, investment managers and developers on real estate investment and development transactions with respect to real estate assets across the United States. Elizabeth provides comprehensive guidance throughout the full life cycle of all types of commercial real estate transactions, including the representation of such clients in the formation of joint ventures and financings, including mortgage mezzanine and construction loans, developments, acquisitions, dispositions, and restructurings. In addition, Elizabeth represents lenders in real estate secured financings, including CMBS financings secured by hotel assets.
