Shira Scheindlin Named to City & State’s ‘Women Power 100’ List
The Hon. Shira Scheindlin, a former federal judge who is of counsel in Stroock’s Litigation and Government Affairs groups, was honored with a place on the “2019 Women Power 100” designation by City & State New York magazine.
In its second year, the annual recognition highlights 100 women who have “made their mark on New York politics and policy.”
With more than four decades of experience in government service, private practice and on the bench, Judge Scheindlin maintains a robust mediation and arbitration practice in addition to her work in litigation and other areas. She was appointed as a U.S. district judge in the Southern District of New York by President Bill Clinton.
