Richard Siegler Honored by New York Law School

May 5, 2011, New York, NY… Stroock & Stroock & Lavan real estate attorney Richard Siegler was honored on April 27 for 25 years of teaching service at New York Law School.

Mr. Siegler was appointed an adjunct professor at New York Law School in 1986, where he has since taught a course on cooperative housing and condominium law.   At Stroock, he focuses his practice on representing cooperative housing corporations and condominium associations.  He joined the firm in 1965. 

Mr. Siegler's representations include general counsel to The Sherry Netherland and counsel for The Ritz Tower, both in Manhattan, as well as providing legal services for the Boards of Managers for numerous condominiums and counseling a number of cooperatives.  

In addition to his position at New York Law School, Mr. Siegler taught a cooperative and condominium management course at the New York University's Schack Institute of Real Estate from 1983 through 1986.  He has also been a columnist for the New York Law Journal for more than 25 years.

Stroock provides advice and counsel for more than 200 cooperatives and condominiums, including The Pierre, The Carlyle and The Promenade, all in Manhattan.  Attorneys in the practice group have litigated disputes involving cooperative and condominium conversions as well.
