Jerry Goldfeder Ranked No. 3 on List of Most Powerful Lawyers in NY Politics
New York, NY, May 13, 2019 — Stroock’s co-managing partners, Alan Klinger and Jeff Keitelman, and special counsel Jerry Goldfeder were named to City & State New York’s inaugural list of the “Law Power 50” — with Jerry ranked No. 3.
The list highlights New York’s 50 most influential lawyers in New York politics and includes a wide variety of leaders in the legal profession. The ranking is based on achievements, track record and sway with powerful politicians.
Jerry was ranked third as a “mainstay of New York’s political class.” Jerry is recognized for his work as a representative of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, his tenure as special counsel for public integrity to former state Attorney General Andrew Cuomo, and his role as chairman of the New York City Bar Association’s Committee on New York City Affairs.
Stroock co-managing partners Alan Klinger and Jeff Keitelman were ranked together as a “powerhouse duo” in civil litigation and real estate transactions. Notably featured was Alan’s successful work with public sector unions and employee benefits funds and Jeff’s leading role on projects including the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey’s redevelopment of the World Trade Center site.
