Today, the U.S. Supreme Court will hear arguments on the litigation-fueling question of what qualifies as an autodialer under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act. 

In discussing the matter with Law360, partner Brian Frontino noted that “The textualists on the court are likely to be focused on the words of the statute, while the more liberal-leaning justices are probably going to be focused on the impact on consumers and what the statute is meant to deter.”
