Julia Strickland, co-chair of Stroock’s Financial Services Litigation, Regulation and Enforcement Group, has again been named one of California’s “Top Women Lawyers” by the Daily Journal. The list recognizes women lawyers in California at the pinnacle of the practice. This is the 15th year Julia has been honored by the Daily Journal for her work and accomplishments.

Julia represents clients across many industries, with a particular specialty in the representation of financial services companies. She has experience with the full range of litigation issues, having defended hundreds of complex and class actions through all stages of the litigation process. She also routinely represents companies in compliance counseling, regulatory proceedings and responding to claims by federal and state regulators and enforcement authorities.

Julia is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, Managing Partner of the Los Angeles office, and co-chair of Stroock’s Financial Services Litigation, Regulation and Enforcement Group. Active in the Los Angeles performing arts community, Julia’s involvement includes Board of Directors, Center Dance Arts; Co-Chair, Board of Ambassadors, Los Angeles Music Center; Member, Board of Trustees, American Dance Movement (formerly Dizzy Feet Foundation); and Board Member, Abraham in Motion.
