The Real Deal

Stroock partner Claude Szyfer was quoted in a recent Real Deal article discussing the pending ban on broker fees in New York as a result of the 2019 Tenant Protection Act, and the real estate industry’s response to the potential changes.

Stroock is representing the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) as a petitioner in the case. Claude noted that REBNY’s initial response regarding the 2019 changes was taken out of context, and will be addressed in the petitioner’s reply, among other details.
