Stroock’s Chris Griner is featured in an article in Corporate Counsel titled “COVID-19 and CFIUS: Coronavirus Pandemic Slows National Security Reviews,” which considers the slowdown in national security reviews of foreign investment deals as well as other changes in CFIUS activity due to the pandemic.

Chris specifically notes: “The current COVID-19 epidemic will heighten CFIUS interest in transactions and investments involving manufacturers of PPE, ventilators and other items that are essential to a national response to a pandemic.”
