City & State

Stroock Co-Managing Partner Alan Klinger has been ranked as one of New York State’s Labor Power 100 by City & State. The New York State Labor Power 100 recognizes “labor leaders and worker rights advocates on the front lines of today’s battles, whether it’s raising wages, protecting immigrants, or seeking safe conditions during the coronavirus pandemic.” This year’s list features an elite list of politicos, labor leaders, lobbyists and attorneys. Alan is the highest-ranking attorney from a law firm on this year’s Power 100.

The article noted that “as co-managing partner of Stroock, Alan Klinger plies his legal services for the United Federation of Teachers and the Uniformed Sanitationmen’s Association and also chairs the law firm’s government affairs and regulatory practice. In November, he represented two judicial associations in a suit against the Unified Court System after 46 older judges were denied recertification in an unusual move as the judiciary faced $300 million in budget cuts.”
