Anti-Defamation League
Stroock Co-Managing Partner and chair of the firm’s Government Affairs and Regulatory Support Group Alan Klinger has been elected Regional Board Chair for the Anti-Defamation League (ADL’s) New York/New Jersey region.
Through the years, Alan has demonstrated an ongoing commitment and dedication to advancing and promoting the ADL’s mission. A recipient of the ADL’s Edward Brodsky Founder’s Award, he is also an ADL Global Leadership Council member, Co-Chair of the region's Lawyers Division, and Chair of the region's Campus Affairs Committee. Previously, he served as the region’s Vice Chair and as a National Commissioner for its parent body.
Alan serves on the board of the United Synagogues of Conservative Judaism and is a past President of Temple Israel of Great Neck. He is a trustee of the NYU School of Law Foundation, the Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights Under Law and Partnership with Children, Inc. He has also received the Lawyers Alliance for New York’s “Cornerstone Award” for outstanding pro bono legal service for his work on behalf of children.
