We defend clients in state and federal courts and before administrative and regulatory agencies in matters including discrimination, harassment, compensation, breach of contract and wrongful discharge or violation of other federal, state or local laws. The group conducts employee seminars designed to ensure legal compliance, encourage good employee relations and avoid litigation where possible. For our unionized clients, we review existing labor contracts, grievance settlements and arbitration awards to identify employer rights under existing agreements, develop proposals and alternative positions for collective bargaining and draft contract provisions. We represent our clients at the bargaining table in both individual and multi-employer industry negotiations. Our team also provides advice regarding the administration of labor contracts, preparing for and operating during strikes, as well as representing clients in NLRB proceedings.
