"What Dodd-Frank Means for Plans and Swaps"
On July 15, 2010, the U.S. Senate voted to approve the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (the "Final Bill"). The U.S. House of Representatives approved the Final Bill last month. This Stroock Special Bulletin highlights key requirements of the Final Bill as applied to swap transactions entered into by or on behalf of ERISA plans, governmental plans and certain other entities.
