“Increased Land Use and CEQR Application Fees Tentatively Scheduled to Take Effect August 10, 2009”

Following a public hearing on June 17th, the New York City Planning Commission voted on July 1, 2009 to approve increases in fees for land use and City Environmental Quality Review applications (the “New Fees”).  These increases were first proposed and published for public comment on May 12, 2009.  The New Fees are tentatively scheduled to take effect on August 10, 2009.  This Stroock Special Bulletin looks at the New Fees and some unanswered questions regarding when they will take effect.
