Sharon Aguirre is an Associate in the firm’s Government Affairs & Regulatory Support practice, where she assists primarily with matters related to Employee Benefits, Executive Compensation and ERISA. She also has experience working with matters relating to compliance, benefit claims and fiduciary issues, contribution enforcement, service provider agreements and qualified domestic relations orders, benefit litigation and prescription drug class action litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Sharon was awarded a Peggy Browning Fellowship at a union-side firm in New York. During law school, she was a law clerk at District Council 37 Municipal Employees Legal Services and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Sharon graduated from Rutgers Law School in 2019, where she was Senior Articles Editor of the Women’s Rights Law Reporter and Student Attorney at Rutgers Civil Justice Clinic assisting in appealing denials from the Social Security Administration.
