Stroock Expands Talent Management, Focuses on Partner Acquisition
New York, June 10, 2019 — In furtherance of its Stroock 2020 strategic plan, the firm has realigned its talent management and professional development functions and created a new partner acquisition role.
Stroock has hired Regina Robbins in the newly created role of Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition. Regina will concentrate on firmwide lateral partner and associate recruiting. She recently was instrumental to lateral partner recruiting in her prior role at an Am Law 100 firm. At Stroock, Regina joins a team that has brought on 13 lateral partners since the beginning of 2018.
As part of the realignment, Yakiry Adal has been named Director of Talent and Inclusion, where she will oversee on-campus recruiting and summer associate programs and lead Stroock’s diversity and inclusion efforts.
A critical component of our success is to have a diverse and inclusive workplace. In fact nearly half of the lateral partners who have joined the firm since 2018 are diverse.
Most recently, Stroock and its lawyers were shortlisted in five categories for the inaugural Chambers Diversity & Inclusion Awards.
Diane Cohen has been named Director of Legal Personnel and LA Administration, where she will oversee legal personnel and administration of the Los Angeles office.
The firm has also hired Tami Segal as its Miami Office Administrator. She joins Stroock from a prominent Florida-based law firm.
The revamped recruiting team also includes Clarice Wahba, senior manager, professional development; Sandra Ramirez, recruiting coordinator; and new hires Sabina Braciak, recruiting coordinator, and Steven Westreich, recruiting assistant.
