Stroock Advises Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Company and the Texas Pacific Group in $45 Billion TXU deal
Stroock represented Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR) and Texas Pacific Group (TPG) in connection with energy and commodity matters relating to the merger agreement under which an investor group led by KKR and TPG will acquire TXU, a Dallas-based energy company. The transaction was announced on February 26th and is valued at $45 billion. Stroock’s team was led by Michael S. Shenberg (Partner, Energy, NY) and Mark N.
