Shira Scheindlin featured on Fox 5 News "Brooklyn court rule could bolster female, minority lawyers"

Former United States District Court Judge Shira A. Scheindlin, Of Counsel in Stroock’s Litigation Group, was featured on a Fox 5 News segment that discusses a new Brooklyn court rule put in place by U.S. District Judge Jack B. Weinstein that encourages junior attorneys to speak in court and considers allowing more than one attorney to argue if it gives junior attorneys an opportunity to speak in court.  This rule is in direct response to the recent New York State Bar Association’s commercial and federal litigation section study titled “If Not Now, When?  Achieving Equality for Women Attorneys in the Courtroom and in ADR.”  To watch the news segment, please click here.
