Laura Goldbard George, a partner in Stroock’s Intellectual Property/Media and Entertainment Group, was quoted in a World Intellectual Property Review article titled “SCOTUS Copyright Ruling Could Cost Creators More Money, Lawyers Say.”
George weighed in on the potential significance of Fourth Estate Public Benefit Corp. v Wall-Street.com, in which the U.S. Supreme Court is considering whether a copyright owner can file an infringement suit before obtaining approval of the registration from the U.S. Copyright Office.
