Howard Lavin quoted in "New York City Mayor Approves Ban on Salary History Questions"

Howard Lavin, a partner in Stroock’s Employment Law Group, was quoted in a Society for Human Resources Management online article that discusses new legislation in New York City, which follows a trend at the city and state level, that is meant to remedy pay disparities for women and minorities.  Under the new legislation, employers in New York City will no longer be allowed to ask job applicants about their salary history.  To read the article, please click here.
