For over 50 years, the Yellowstone injunction has been a bedrock protection for commercial tenants. It is the tool by which tenants in New York who receive a notice to cure alleged defaults under a lease may obtain both a judicial toll of their cure period and an injunction temporarily barring the landlord from terminating the lease.
