Stroock is proud to be ranked for the second consecutive year by Law360 as a top firm for minority attorneys. The list features law firms that have made headway in turning “longstanding diversity goals into workplace realities.”

Within the past year, Stroock was also awarded the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s Compass Award and shortlisted for five Chambers USA Diversity & Inclusion Awards, with Ross Moskowitz being awarded the “Outstanding Ally” accolade in June.

Yakiry Adal, recently named Director of Talent and Inclusion, leads Stroock’s diversity and inclusion efforts.

“Our focus isn’t solely on the percentage of diverse attorneys,” she says, “it’s on creating an inclusive environment in which diverse attorneys’ contributions are valued as a means of strengthening collaboration and client service.”

Indeed, Stroock believes that an inclusive workplace is a critical component of its success. Nearly half of the lateral partners who have joined the firm since 2018 are diverse.
