Stroock partner Kristopher M. Hansen is being honored by Futures and Options, a New York City nonprofit organization that empowers the city’s underrepresented youth, with its 2021 Dream Big Award, along with Rodney O. Martin, Jr., chairman and CEO of Voya Financial, Inc. (NYSE: VOYA). The annual award salutes those making it possible for young people, particularly youth of color, to develop necessary professional skills through internships and career development, acquire higher education and achieve success in the working world.

Kris is the Chair of Stroock’s Financial Restructuring Group and serves on the firm’s Executive Committee, where he provides strategic and operational leadership to the firm. Kris is widely recognized among his peers and clients as one of the nation’s leading restructuring lawyers. Kris has made it a priority, both personally and professionally, to assist those who are underserved in their communities throughout his distinguished career.
