New York, September 25 2019 — Veteran legal industry technology leader Neeraj Rajpal has joined Stroock as Chief Information Officer, overseeing a national team of more than 25 across the firm’s offices.

Neeraj has served as CIO at three Am Law 100 firms, including Morrison & Foerster and K&L Gates, and has over 25 years of strategic IT experience. His mandate to enhance tech capabilities furthers Stroock 2020, the strategic plan launched by the firm to position itself for long-term, sustainable success in a changing legal industry.

“As the legal industry continues to evolve, we believe it is crucial for law firms to become leaders in innovation,” said co-managing partner Jeff Keitelman.

“Neeraj is a seasoned leader in law firm technology and innovation, and we are excited to have him at the helm,” he added.

Throughout his career, Neeraj has overseen IT strategic road maps, security and information management, cybersecurity and privacy programs, disaster recovery and infrastructure management, among other areas. He is also fluent in cutting-edge aspects of legal tech trends such as blockchain and artificial intelligence.

“Stroock has made it clear that investing in innovation and technology is at the forefront of their plans for long-term success,” noted Neeraj. “I’m thrilled to be joining Stroock at this exciting time.”

Stroock has continued its growth in strategic areas, adding seven lateral partners in 2019, most recently intellectual property partner Timothy Gilman, a patent litigator who joined from Kirkland & Ellis.
