Press Release

Stroock’s national Real Estate Group advised Edward J. Minskoff Equities in FTI Consulting’s recent 120,000-square-foot lease at the 1166 Sixth Avenue office tower in Midtown Manhattan.

The deal marks one of the largest leasing transactions of the coronavirus era in New York City. The Real Deal highlighted the significance of this lease, noting that leasing during the second quarter of 2020 hit its lowest level since 2009.

The transaction follows Stroock’s guidance of another milestone matter in New York in the COVID era: a joint venture managed by Lendlease and L&M Development Partners obtained construction financing for the development of 100 Claremont Avenue into a 354,000-square-foot mixed-use building in the cultural and academic neighborhood of Morningside Heights.

The Stroock team in the leasing matter includes partner Trevor Adler and associate Ida Phair.
