An analysis of the recently passed CARES Act, written by Stroock’s Howard Lavin and Elizabeth DiMichele as a client alert, was featured in a Los Angeles Times article titled “Here’s How Freelancers Can Get Unemployment Pay for Work Lost to Coronavirus.”

The article highlights Stroock’s client alert, noting “Most eligible individuals would receive no less than the minimum required by the Disaster Unemployment Assistance program, plus $600 a week.” Of that $600 per week, Elizabeth points out that the payments end on July 31, 2020.
