Real Deal

Stroock environmental and land use lawyer Raymond “Rusty” Pomeroy weighed in on the complications potentially posed by advanced air filtration systems under the New York City Climate Mobilization Act in a Real Deal article titled “Landlords Fear COVID’s Impact on Climate Law.”

The article details how the increased energy usage of air filtration systems aimed at keeping buildings virus-free may conflict with the requirements of the Climate Mobilization Act.

“So far we haven’t seen the city take any action to adjust expectations,” Rusty told the publication.
