Neeraj Rajpal, Stroock’s Chief Information Officer, was recently featured in a Law.com / Legal Tech News article titled “Forgetting Something? Firms’ BYOD Policies May Need Updating in Remote Work Era.” The article discusses how law firms may need to update BYOD policies to account for new cyber threats as they embrace remote work long term.

Noting that BYOD policies aren’t one-size-fits-all, Neeraj stated that while Stroock hasn’t modified its BYOD policy because of prior cybersecurity investments, the firm has increased training and materials to remind its remote lawyers and staffers of phishing and other cyberattack realities.

“The frequency of the security training and mandatory training [is] keeping people attuned to becoming more vigilant,” he said.
