World Intellectual Property Review

Laura Goldbard George, a partner in Stroock’s Intellectual Property/Media and Entertainment Group, was quoted in a World Intellectual Property Review article titled “SCOTUS Copyright Ruling Could Cost Creators More Money, Lawyers Say.”

George weighed in on the potential significance of Fourth Estate Public Benefit Corp. v, in which the U.S. Supreme Court is considering whether a copyright owner can file an infringement suit before obtaining approval of the registration from the U.S. Copyright Office.
