The article covered a panel that Joel moderated at the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA) annual meeting titled “When the Lawyer is Obliged to Turn Against His Client.” The panel, which included U.S. District Judge Brian Cogan and top ethics attorneys, considered the issues and obligations that can arise when one’s client is dishonest or misleading.
