In his latest column for the New York Law Journal, Joel Cohen looks at Rudy Giuliani’s role as President Donald Trump’s lawyer, asking whether ethical issues may arise from the possibility of Giuliani being named as a co-conspirator in any improper or illegal acts, assuming improper or illegal acts were committed.

“Doesn’t a lawyer – albeit unconsciously – run the risk of causing harm to his client when a reflexive effort at self-protection may potentially lie just around the corner?” Joel writes.
