Corporate Counsel

Chris Griner and Tatiana Sullivan were featured in a Corporate Counsel article titled “Proposed New CFIUS Filing Fees: What Dealmakers and In-House Counsel Need to Know.” The article looks at proposed new fees for filing voluntary transaction reviews before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.

Griner notes that CFIUS ensured the newly proposed fees are “reasonable and with a view towards not discouraging transactions, but allowing appropriate scrutiny as necessary,” while Sullivan adds that the new fees will “add to existing appropriations to ensure the government panel can keep staffing and resource levels up.”
