In a Law360 article titled “Policy Trends For Construction Attys To Watch In 2020,” Stroock’s Ankush Israni looks at California’s Housing Crisis Act of 2019 and the potential for changed zoning laws and increased housing density.

“[The act] is supposed to reduce the barriers to entry to create new homes throughout California,” Israni notes. “The California Legislature has taken on this battle by allowing more laws to allow accessory dwelling units.”
