In her latest piece for Law360, The Hon. Shira Scheindlin, of counsel in Stroock’s General Litigation and Government Affairs groups and a former federal judge, discusses using alternative dispute resolution as an option tomanage the civil case backlog caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Judge Scheindlin suggests that “given the realities of the current situation, parties in commercial disputes consider arbitration and mediation if they wish to resolve their disputes and return to the business of doing business.”
