Stroock, an AmLaw firm with nearly 300 attorneys nationwide, has an opening in its Corporate department for a paralegal. This is an entry level opportunity for someone that is interested in getting hands-on experience in a law firm with the potential to start a new, and rewarding career. Ideal for grads who plan to attend law school or someone interested in becoming a career paralegal.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Working directly with attorneys and clients during closings and corporate transactions;
• Responsible for ongoing assignments with specific clients and attorneys; and assist attorneys with preparing corporate documents.
• Become quickly involved as team member, providing key assistance to the transaction teams to which you are assigned.

Skills and requirements:

• Requires a 4 year college degree
• Availability to work overtime
• Commitment to 2 years, at minimum
• Must possess leadership skills and detail-oriented mindset, ability to adapt to new situations and work well in a team environment, helpful  attitude, the ability to maintain confidential information, exercise good judgment, and follow-through on assigned tasks.
