The past year has witnessed a dramatic transformation in the estate and tax planning landscape, with “Qualified Opportunity Funds” and “Opportunity Zones” (and the cadre of tax benefits they can provide) assuming a leading role in this brave new world.
Join Stroock partner Kevin Matz for this CPE program that will summarize the July 9 public hearing at the US Department of the Treasury concerning the proposed regulations on Qualified Opportunity Zones. Kevin recently testified at the hearing where he addressed trust and estate related issues speaking on behalf of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He also addressed issues raised in the NYSSCPA’s January 2019 comment letter to Treasury on this topic.
This program will offer 1 CPE credit hours for certified public accountants.
The event is free for members of NYSSCPA, $15 for non-members.
