New York’s Not-for-Profit Corporation Law and administrative regulations create such a challenging environment that many practitioners advise New York nonprofits to incorporate in another state. This program aims to provide a forum to exchange ideas about how best to reform the 40-year-old N-PCL, a proposed revision of which has been introduced in the legislature, and modernize nonprofit administrative practice.
