Litigation against consumer financial services companies is increasing exponentially. Implementation of the numerous federal and state predatory lending and privacy-based initiatives and challenges based on federal preemption are significantly affecting the landscape of the consumer financial services arena. This rapidly evolving area of the law continues to present significant challenges. At this program, a stellar panel of plaintiffs' lawyers, defense counsel, regulators, consumer advocates, law professors and judges will explore the legal issues facing the consumer financial services industry and the lawyers whose work affects the industry.
