May 13 | 11AM

Speakers: Howard S. Lavin, Jeffrey M. Mann

Stroock and CohnReznick will present on cybersecurity, data privacy, and employment issues in a co-sponsored webinar on May 13 at 11AM.

When the workforce transitions back on-site – with many workers likely remaining remote (or semi-remote) for some time – employers must have a keen awareness of the cybersecurity/data privacy and employment issues these conditions will likely present.

In this program, our panel of thought leaders will address:

  • Developing a cyber strategy for the “new normal” of a remote workforce, including the establishment of controls to protect remote assets
  • Working from home, including data privacy and client confidentiality (with consideration to IoT-related devices)
  • Expanding virtual offices and housing data in various locales and states
  • Adhering to COVID-19 recommendations, including social distancing, sanitizing, temperature and health screens, phased-in return, voluntary/mandatory return and reasonable accommodations
  • Managing both office and remote locations, including wage/hour issues related to remote work
