Robert A. Hauser, a consultant in the Real Estate Practice Group, provides strategic advice with respect to the acquisition, disposition, construction and financing of property involving government leases, as well as related operational, litigation support and compliance issues.
Prior to joining Stroock, Mr. Hauser spent nearly two decades with the General Services Administration (GSA), having most recently served as Senior Assistant Regional Counsel. During his tenure, Mr. Hauser represented government entities in a range of real estate lease transactions, including the Department of Homeland Security’s consolidation efforts and the Defense Department’s Base Realignment and Closure process.
Before Mr. Hauser joined the GSA, he served as counsel in the Office of the General Counsel, Naval Air Systems Command for the Department of the Navy where he advised clients on award and administration of contracts.
