Eugene Balshem concentrates in real estate transactions and related matters. He represents investment firms, pension funds, banks and other financial institutions in connection with the origination, purchase, sale, syndication and securitization of commercial real estate loans. Mr. Balshem has experience (representing both lenders and borrowers) in construction, permanent, bridge and mezzanine financing transactions. He has also been involved with loan restructuring and workout/foreclosure alternatives for distressed loans.
