James G. Sammataro quoted in "Filmmaker Loses Publicity Claim; Can Proceed With Infringement Claim"

James G. Sammataro, a partner in Stroock's Entertainment and Litigation Practice Groups and managing partner for the firm's Miami office, was quoted in a Law Journal Newsletters article that discussed how U.S. District Judge Marcia Cooke dismissed Cuban filmmaker Yosmani Acosta's claim that Spanish Broadcasting System Inc. and its Mega TV channel violated the right of publicity law by using Acosta’s name during a broadcast.  Sammataro represents Spanish Broadcasting System in the Acosta v.
